Strygwyr the Bloodseeker is a melee agility Hero who excels at ganking and chasing injured enemy Heroes. Most of his abilities help out his capabilities as an auto-attack Hero, while also being able to severely weaken them. He has an ability that greatly enhances attack damage, while also being able to silence the target which is useful if battled against a strong spellcaster. He also has two passives that mark as his signature skills, one enhancing Bloodseeker's movement speed against weakened Heroes and revealing their position, and another that heals him a very large portion of health in every kill allowing him to stay in the lane or in team fights longer. His ultimate either potentially deals massive damage, or serves as a pseudo-stun depending on the action decided by his prey.

Bloodseeker provides an easy environment to play, able to stay in lane long even as a melee Hero, having an exceptional amount of auto-attack damage and attack speed, and especially having an easy capability to gank. He is recommended for new players.

[edit] Bio

Bloodseeker Strygwyr, the Bloodseeker
"For the Flayed Twins, I seek blood."
Role: Carry / Jungler
Lore: Strygwyr the Bloodseeker is a ritually sanctioned hunter, Hound of the Flayed Twins, sent down from the mist-shrouded peaks of Xhacatocatl in search of blood. The Flayed Ones require oceanic amounts of blood to keep them sated and placated, and would soon drain their mountain empire of its populace if the priests of the high plateaus did not appease them. Strygwyr therefore goes out in search of carnage. The vital energy of any blood he lets, flows immediately to the Twins through the sacred markings on his weapons and armor. Over the years, he has come to embody the energy of a vicious hound; in battle he is savage as a jackal. Beneath the Mask of the Bloodseeker, in the rush of bloody quenching, it is said that you can sometime see the features of the Flayers taking direct possession of their Hound.

[edit] Tips

  • Blood Bath gives Bloodseeker staying power in lane, healing him whenever he last hits or denies a creep.
  • Early Quelling Blade will help you get most benefit out of Blood Bath.
  • Bloodrage should be cast on enemy early game to prevent strong nukes, considering Bloodseeker is often played in middle lane you should put at least one point into it. Lategame it mostly serves as steroid for Bloodseeker or other carries or to silence big caster threats such as Enigma or Earthshaker. It is also very useful for taking down towers when used on Bloodseeker.
  • At levels 3 and 4 Bloodrage can be used continuously, since its cooldown becomes less than its duration.
  • Use Bloodrage at max levels with caution, while silence may prevent enemy from escaping it might give him enough damage to turn the fight around.
  • Force Staff is a commonly built item on Bloodseeker, in conjunction with Rupture it can cause massive burst damage (360) to enemy heroes by forcing them to move.
