Mana

Blue bar shows Mana.

Mana represents the magic power of a hero. It appears in the UI as a blue bar at the bottom of the screen under the Health bar. The left number shows your current mana, while the right number shows your maximum mana. Mana is the resource used to cast most spells, if your current mana is lower than the amount needed to use a skill, you won't be able to use it.

A hero's maximum mana is 13 for each point of Intelligence. There are also items that increase total mana directly, such as Point Booster.

Mana Regeneration

Mana Regeneration is a stat that determines the amount of mana a hero regains each second. It is shown as a small number with a + sign at the right side of the mana bar.

Heroes regain mana every second equal to their base mana regen rate (.01 for most heroes), plus .04 for each point of Intelligence multiplied by any percentage increases from items. You can also get a mana regeneration boost by activating a Regeneration Rune.
