The Scythe of Vyse, also known as Guinsoo or Sheepstick, is an Item purchasable at the Main Shop, under Caster.

Turns target unit into a harmless critter. Hex disables damage block and evasion, reduces the unit's base movement speed to 100 and prevents the unit from gaining experience. Affected unit retains normal health, mana, armor value, and armor type. If cast on an illusion, the illusion is immediately destroyed. Lasts 3.5 seconds, costs 100 mana, has a 35 second cooldown, and has a casting range of 800.

- In the original DotA, this item was known as Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse, as a tribute to one of the developers of DotA: Allstars, who went on to co-create League of Legends
- This item is known by many players as "Sheepstick" due to turning targeted heroes into sheep in DotA 1.
