Tiny
Tiny the Stone Giant is a melee Strength hero with powerful ganking potential. Avalanche is one of his main sources of damage, which lets him create an explosive wave of stones in an area, damaging and stunning enemies. Toss throws his target up high, damaging the object if it's an enemy, launching them to a specific unit, and damaging nearby enemies on impact. Toss can also be used to save his allies or help them initiate by tossing his allied initiator to an enemy team. Using Avalanche in conjunction with Toss will inflict massive amounts of damage, as well as a long area of effect stun. Although his two spells can disable his enemy, it is most used mainly for killing rather than setting up or support his allies. Those foolish enough to attack him may be rewarded with a stun from his passive ability, Craggy Exterior, which also gives him additional armor to compensate his low resistance. Although at first he may live up to his name, he will gradually grow in size and power with his ultimate, Grow, greatly increasing his attack damage, movement speed, and Toss damage, while his attack speed is critically downgraded. While fragile early game, he will soon turn into a hulking behemoth with massive health and power.

- Using Avalanche and then tossing an enemy hero into the avalanche allows the avalanche to damage the target twice. This effect also occurs if you reverse the order by using Toss and then Avalanche. However, if using Toss first, it is harder to land all of the damage pulses of Avalanche while the target is in the air, often resulting in lower than the maximum possible damage.
- The Blink Dagger is the perfect item to get on Tiny as it helps to gank consistently early game and pick up more kills or escape if needed.
- When leveling skills early game it is best to max Avalanche and Toss to gain damage potential early game. If you don't feel confident enough to hit both attacks, then ask a team mate with a stun, such as Crystal Maiden or Vengeful Spirit, to use their stun first.
- Getting your ultimate at level six is highly recommended as the extra move speed and attack damage adds more damage to your combo than points in Avalanche or Toss alone.
- Early game, tossing an allied initiator such as Slardar, Earthshaker or Tidehunter at foes can set their skills up perfectly.
- Grow gives Tiny the highest natural attack damage in the game, at the cost of degraded attack speed. If Tiny gets a good standing during the middle phase, Tiny can be equipped with attack speed items to increase its already dangerous power.
- Waiting to skill level 4 Avalanche is a good strategy because of the measly 40 damage increase, compared to Toss's damage increase of 75.
- Tiny teams up particularly well with Io, due to Io's stun and ultimate both being of great use to Tiny.
